More Details
For their thesis film, they wanted to tell a story with magical visuals. During conceptualization they began to think about the idea of, “what if paper cranes come to life.” The artists were inspired by the ancient Japanese Legend that if you fold a thousand paper cranes, you get a wish and the story The Wishing of Cranes developed around that core concept.
